September 30th, 2006 — 6:02pm

In between working on wedding photos I spend a little time on our photos from recent travels. Here are three photos, one each from Brisbane, Singapore and Paris.

Terry Pratchett

September 30th, 2006 — 5:43pm

On Thursday night we went and saw a talk involving Terry Pratchett, the author of the Discworld novels. Terry was informative and funny, answering many varied questions on his current book, film prospects and such things as the nature of inspiration. I think we walked a bit long getting there and leaving however, Keryn’s cold seems to have got a little worse. So much for the ‘walk it off’ theory.

Paris

September 28th, 2006 — 5:20pm

We spent four days in Paris over the weekend, arriving back in London via Eurostar on Tuesday evening. We had a good if tiring time, I’m fairly sure we climbed over 2000 stairs exploring various monuments and churches.

It was Keryn’s 30th birthday on the Sunday just gone and it was nice to be somewhere where we could relax and celebrate rather than being on the move to another foreign country. Having said that the meal we had that night wasn’t the best, but you can’t have everything I suppose. More details and photos to follow at a later date.
