Hello! We’re back, safe and sound, after four days in the lovely Bruges (or Brugge, or however you spell it, no-one seems to know how to spell it properly in English – which is probably right, seeing as its a Flemish name). Thanks to one and all for the presents, cards and emails we’ve received over the last month, all are appreciated. We sort of bought ourselves presents this year, I got a digital camera (which I got before our holiday, see some of the pictures below) and Keryn got a Sony Clie (personal organiser/computer thingee). Keryn worked today and I picked her present up from my place of work, though I definitely did no work myself.
I’ll try to get a website up for our Bruges trip this weekend, in between seeing ‘The Two Towers’ again and watching Liverpool vs Arsenal. Anyway, here are five images from our trip, if you get the chance spend a few days in this ancient city as it is truly a wonderful place.

It’s again been a while again, the lead up to Christmas has had us busy. For any we don’t email or talk too, Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year! We’re off to Bruges in Belgium tomorrow morning, we leave here at 4am, fly out at 8am and get to Brussels at around 10am their time. We’ll then wander around Brussels for a bit and then make our way by train to Bruges, where we’ll spend the next four nights.
We’ve sent off a lot of Christmas cards and presents but unfortunately most will probably arrive after Christmas itself, we hope you don’t mind. Patricia, yours will be especially late, problems with the supplier not sending it till the middle of January, we’re working on something else.
There’s not much else to say right now, we’ve spent the last month working, buying presents, preparing gifts and working out how to send them. We’ve also had work Christmas parties, a Kiwi night and The Two Towers movie to attend. Once our short holiday is over it’ll be slowly getting into Wedding mode for 2003, we’re already looking forward to getting to New Zealand for Steve and Chris’s Wedding in March, plus visiting all the family and friends we haven’t seen in a couple of years.
Thats all for now, enjoy the holiday season one and all, with luck we’ll be seeing most of you next year.

Hi there. We haven’t been up to a lot recently so that’s why there haven’t been any updates. We’ve done lots of Christmas shopping and have also bought ourselves a colour printer so we can do our own photo prints but that’s about the limit of our excitement right now. We did go and watch The Fellowship of the Ring on the big screen on the weekend, I got four free tickets from one of the papers (The Sun) and we took Maree and Scott with us, it was good to see it again. Only 9 days till The Two Towers.
I just found out that an Ice Sculpture festival is currently taking place in Brugge and ends on the 23rd, the day after we arrive, so we’ll have to go see that. Winter has finally decided to come across Britain as well, we’re down to 2 degrees today with wind chill taking it closer to -8 degrees. Strangely enough we’ll be going shopping for warmer clothes this weekend. Not much else going on, we’re putting together the last of our gifts and hoping that everything will get to NZ and Aussie in time, and working, so I’d better go now.
